TURKEY TAIL (Short)
LATE ARCHAIC TO EARLY WOODLAND 3000 BP TO 2500 BP

This is an artistic representation of a Turkey Tail (short). It is named for its base, which resembles a Turkey Tail. There are several variations of the Turkey Tail. It is a large, broad bi-point with a broad midsection with a basal diagonal corner notch. It has been found mostly in the Mississippi Valley.
