OSCEOLA HEMPHILL
A MIDDLE TO LATE ARCHAIC POINT 5000 BP

This is an artistic representation of an Osceola Hemphill. Named for the Osceola Site in Wisconsin and the Hemphill Site near Brown County, Illinois where the first identified specimens were found. It is a large point with side notches. Examples were found throughout the Missouri and Mississippi River Valleys.
