TURKEY TAIL (Long) LATE ARCHAIC TO EARLY WOODLAND 3000 BP TO 2500 BP
This is an artistic representation of a Turkey Tail (long). It is named for its base, which resembles a Turkey Tail. There are several variations of the Turkey Tail. This is a representation of a more elongated style (Harrison's) which we have referred to as the Turkey Tail Long. It has been found mostly in the Mississippi Valley.
